Tadd Fujikawa was born in Honolulu on January 8, 1991 to Derrick and Lori Fujikawa. He was born three months premature, weighing barely over 1 pound. In 2007, he became the second youngest player in history to make a PGA Tour event cut, when he qualified for the Sony Open. His hobbies include Judo, Fishing, and playing the piano. Tadd’s mother is a black belt in Aikido and his father teaches judo at the Salt Lake Judo Club. Recently, his father has run into trouble with the law for selling drugs to undercover police officers.
